Yes, it's still a bit chilly, but there are hopeful signs: buds on tree branches, flowers miraculously appearing, and more and more birdsong.  Inotherwords, it’s the perfect time to do some spring cleaning! This event is not just about being green and it’s not just about giving back to our community though--it's about that great feeling of accomplishment you get as you look at your just-decluttered living space. It’s a win-win-win for the environment, for people in need, and for your peace of mind.

You can help reduce electronic waste and protect our planet by bringing your old electronic devices, such as laptops, printers, smartphones, and tablets, to be responsibly recycled. But that's not all-they are also collecting non-perishable food and personal items for our local charity Food Lifeline. Consider donating canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, toiletries, feminine hygiene products, or diapers, to help those in need. Every donation counts!

Mark your calendars for April 8th from 9:am to 12:pm at the Windermere Northgate Parking Lot, 301 NE 100 Street. Stop by there after you and your family attend the Easter Egg Hunt at Reservoir Park that morning!
