Emergency Hub Co-Chair
What you'd be doing
- Working alongside the Emergency Hub Committee chair on preparedness efforts
- Learning how hub sites and neighbor-to-neighbor networks are organized
- Taking on more responsibility over time, so the committee always has continuity
Every MLCC committee needs a co-chair: someone apprenticing alongside the current lead so committees don't depend on any one person indefinitely. This role lets longtime volunteers eventually roll off while the work keeps going.
What it takes
- Interest in emergency preparedness
- About two hours a month, and a willingness to commit for a year or two
